According to the accountability report, as of the second quarter of this year, five of the same number of departments across the country are progressing steadily on drainage facilities dedicated to farming areas, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food (Maga).
The document shows that as of August, 23.7 million Qatari riyals of the 39.1 million Qatari riyals planned for the above targets had been spent, implying an implementation rate of 61%. It can be seen from the report that the total project area is 233,260 square meters, of which 106,533 square meters have been progressed, equivalent to 45.7%.

The document emphasizes that irrigation projects prioritize areas with difficult access to water to promote efficient use of water resources and adapt to climate change.
