The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts will be showing a couple of Halloween-themed films in the coming days.

Michael Keaton, Oscar winner Geena Davis, Alex Baldwin and Winona Ryder star in director Tim Burton’s 1988 supernatural horror comedy Beetlejuice (Saturday, 4 p.m.). When a pair of cute young couch potato ghosts (Baldwin and Davis) try to haunt the pretentious people who have taken up residence in their home, they enlist the help of a demonic ghost (Keaton) they can’t control, in this comic fantasy that mixes the living and the dead with laughter and fear. The film is rated PG and runs 92 minutes.

Haunting in Venice (Wednesday, 7 p.m.) takes place in eerie post-World War II Venice on All Hallow’s Eve. This is a terrifying mystery that features the return of the famous detective Hercule Poirot. Retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most charming city, Poirot reluctantly attends séances in a crumbling, haunted palace. When one of the guests is killed, the detective finds himself in an ominous world of shadows and secrets. The film is rated PG-13 and runs 107 minutes.

Upcoming films at The Reg include the annual screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday, October 27 at 10 p.m., as well as a special Palace Theater performance celebrating the 100th anniversary of the inspirational 1993 sports drama Rudy (Wednesday, November 15 at 19:00). )

Movie tickets at The Reg are $7 for movies and $6 for family movies, plus an additional $1 theater restoration fee. Tickets can be purchased from noon to 5 p.m. Monday and Friday and from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday by calling 716-484-7070 and online at reglenna.com.
