British pop star Robbie Williams wants to get busy in his new home, Gstaad in the canton of Bern. The 49-year-old singer, who recently performed at the Zurich Openair, was the first to speak out against the carousel.

On his Instagram account, the Briton appeared in a photo in which he holds a sign that reads “Say no to carousels.”

In this regard, Williams indicates that he offered his services as a paid celebrity protester. “His prices are lower than other stars like Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber,” he said wryly.

Williams also posted a photo of himself on the lawn, according to news portal blick.ch. On this occasion, he wrote: “I received my first contract.”

The singer, a former member of the group Take That, had recently lived in Gstaad and was about to put his property in the Geneva suburb of Vandoevre up for sale.

Proximity to Switzerland

Williams had previously vacationed in Gstaad several times. Photos published by Schweizer Illustrierte show him and his wife Aida cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the Bernese resort. The couple also has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Showbiz.

Robbie Williams has some connections to Switzerland. The British singer had already visited the Confederation during Take That.

Moreover, Schladming (Austria) is not so far away. Williams will perform twice this year to kick off the winter season. After a press conference at the end of July, during which the announcement of his concerts in Austria was made, the singer was flown by helicopter to Gstaad to find his family.
