LeBron James and FAMU are business partners, and his wife, Savannah James, is pounding the pavement for the school’s marching band.
Savannah James recently filmed a promotional video for Lockerverse (of which she is a founder) urging people to vote for FAMU’s Marching 100 in ESPN’s Band of the Year competition. FAMU is the first and only HBCU to feature LeBron James apparel.
“Hi, my name is Savannah James, and I’m excited to represent FAMU’s Marching 100 Band in the ESPN Band of the Year competition,” James said. “Your support matters. “I’m calling on every FAMU fan to vote for the one and only ‘King James’ HBCU school every week on the Lockerverse app. “
Voting also gives fans a chance to win $5,000 and tickets to the annual band competition and Celebration Bowl.
“So you know the James Gang are rocking out with the Marching 100, but we want to know who you think the best band is.”
