Selena Gomez was forced to delete a post from his Instagram account following allegations that he violated the rules of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
The post was actually a video filmed on the set of the third season of Only Murders in the Building, which received 1.2 million likes in the 15 hours it was online.
The rules set by the union forbid its members from promoting film and television projects until an agreement is reached.
The actress tagged the show’s official account, leading to speculation that it was a form of promotion and sparking online debate and criticism. Indeed, among the comments were those who claimed that he was not respectful of the situation and his colleagues.
So far, Selena and her representatives are reluctant to comment on what happened, and we will have to wait to see if the star will comment.
