Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing father. Since Richard Williams trained not one but two tennis legends, he deserves to be recognized like a “King.” Former world No. 1 Venus Williams recently posted a story on Instagram that spotted the father-daughter pair having a blast. Richard spent much of his youth training Serena and Venus. Due to his illness, he has not been seen anywhere for a long time.

Richard has been gone for a long time since his brain surgery. The man had survived three strokes in the past few years. The four-time Olympic gold medalist posted 2 fun photos with her father on Instagram.

Richard recently became the grandfather of Serena Williams’ second daughter, Adira River. So it looks like Richard is on a pretty tough road to recovery so that he can spend more time with his family.

Venus makes sure the reader sees both photos. She just hinted that the first photo was a selfie of the two with the question, followed by a second photo with some emojis. The first photo in the story is captioned: “How did this become…” And the second ended with her making a silly face and Richard looking at the ground.

It’s amazing how quickly Richard’s recovery progressed. The work he did to train his daughter was one of his greatest achievements. So, obviously, they are supportive at times.
