Giving an insight into their lives, tennis superstar Serena Williams has unveiled her gorgeous nursery for new family member Adira.
Via a YouTube video clip, the 41-year-old and her entrepreneur husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, warmly welcomed fans into their home.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Olympia, five years ago and recently celebrated the birth of Adira. Now, in her latest video upload, Serena invites viewers to visit Adira’s magnificent bedroom.
The centerpiece of the nursery is an impressive crown that sits majestically above the crib. The wall behind it is decorated with lush crimson plush, complemented by similar curtains that form a canopy over the crib.
Burgundy trunks, a majestic giraffe stuffed animal, and even a spacious walk-in closet accentuate the room’s elegance and comfort.
This intricate and luxurious design is attributed to Dutch company By Selina. Their impeccable taste is further demonstrated by the chic floral vine pattern cascading in one corner of the room.
Hanging from the ceiling are stuffed hot air balloons and a piece of art that confidently proclaims “Victory Redefined.”

Serena’s video takes viewers back in time, revealing the moment three weeks ago when she awaited Adira’s arrival with anticipation. At the time, the room, formerly Olympia’s bedroom, was in the early stages of renovation.
Wearing a chic Gucci maternity dress, Serena gave fans a preliminary tour. However, a lighter moment ensues as Olympia humorously refuses her mother entry into her playroom.
Later, perhaps sensing a change, Olympia entered the nursery and temporarily took over the duties of decoration.
Their funny interaction led Serena to comment, “Where’s your mom?” She’s so funny! ” By Selina also expressed her appreciation for Serena choosing them to design the Adira space.
They wrote in a heartfelt letter: “It was such an honor to design this nursery for baby Adira without knowing his gender or name. Thank you for welcoming us into your home and trusting us with this Special projects.”
Last week, Serena announced Adira’s birth on a sweet family TikTok, giving the world its first look at her baby. The name Adira originates from Hebrew and embodies the meanings of “noble”, “powerful” and “majestic”.
Alexis welcomed Adira on Instagram: “Welcome, Adira R. Ohanian. Our home is now filled with love. @serenawilliams, you have blessed me with another unparalleled gift. Thank you so much Incredible medical team. Introducing @olympiaohanian to her little sister was a moment I will cherish forever.”
Concluding his heartfelt message, Alexis turned to the Book of Isaiah, sharing, “Your peace will be like a river, and your happiness will be like the waves of the sea.”
Serena and Alexis declared their love for each other in a lavish ceremony in New Orleans in November 2017, just months before Olympia came into their lives.
