Serena Williams truly knows how to impress with her stunning style choices, and over the years she’s been known for her form-fitting and eclectic style (from pearl-encrusted gowns to daring maternity wear) are no doubt leaving fans in awe.
For example, the 41-year-old tennis star shared In a photo she posted on her S by Serena Instagram page in May 2022, she wore a stunning electric blue mini dress that made her look almost like royalty.
Dubbed the “Lyric Dress,” the glamorous garment featured pleats all over and a low backless cut that accentuated her figure.
The sensational piece even featured full-length gloves that were cut off from the top of her arms, exposing her shoulders with just a hint of skin, which she finished with a simple gold chain.
Serena even added a huge diamond ring to the dress, and the post’s caption even included an emoji to match, along with: “We haven’t worn the back of the Lyric dress yet.”
Fans apparently weren’t either, as they immediately bombarded it with heart and fire emojis in the comments section, praising Serena’s look. One wrote: “Let’s talk about that stunning blue too.” Another wrote: “Queen you make this look sexy.” A third added: ” Wow, that’s great, you’re perfect.”
The clothing is part of the fashion brand’s new summer collection, which launched earlier this month, and is inspired by “summer days and sultry summer nights.”

The new product was part of a celebration at the time, after she shared a clip on Instagram of a Nike campus building named after her, writing: “There’s something to be said about setting goals. …
“When I was a kid I visited the @nike campus and I saw the athletes getting buildings! After that visit I knew I wanted two things: to be a Nike athlete and to own a building thing. I set my goals high. I knew I had to be elite, not just the best, but someone who would change the course of the sport.

“Now, here we are – officially unveiling the Serena Building on Nike Campus. Blood, sweat and tears, many trophies – this is beyond an honor and gives me chills.”
Of course, a lot has changed for Serena in the year since. The tennis pro announced his retirement from the sport in August of that year and played his final major league match later that month at the U.S. Open.

A year later, in May 2023, everything came full circle when she announced at the Met Gala that she and husband Alexis Ohanian were expecting their second child, which sister of their five-year-old daughter, Olympia Ohanian. In an Instagram post the famous athlete later shared, she revealed their new baby girl’s unique name for the first time: “Adira River Ohanian.”
