SESA launches intensive vaccination day in Chetumal

Chetumal, QRoo, September 3, 2023. – From this Monday until September 8, the Quintana Roo State Secretariat of Health will organize intensive vaccination days for boys, girls, adolescents, the elderly and children in the capital of the State of Quintana Roo. Pregnant women will carry it as a slogan; For the health of you and your family, get vaccinated! The goal is to protect people from preventable diseases.

The Minister of Health, Flavio Carlos Rosado, explained that this day of health will be held from 8 am to 2 pm at the National Vaccine Center, located in Chetumal 4 de Marzo and Avenida Maxuxac between Miguel Alemán.

In the statement, he asked the public to be aware of official announcements about vaccination days in other cities.

Quintana Roo State Government

SRP (Measles, Rubella and Mumps), Pneumonia 13V, Rotavirus, TDPA and Hexavalent vaccines (protects minors against Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Haemophilus influenzae, Hepatitis B and Polio ) dose. The 13-valent pneumococcal vaccine against pneumococcus is suitable for those 60 years and older. Pregnant women get the TDAP vaccine (helps protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) starting at the 20th week of pregnancy.
