Shakira and the break with Gerard Piqué: “I ask for respect for my children”

Shakira she is back to talking about her on social networks separation from Gerard Piqué. The pop star shared a post on Instagram in which she asked the paparazzi to unfollow hers two sons: Milan10 years, e Sasha8.
“Dear friends, journalists and media, in this moment of changes in my life as a public figure, it is understandable that there is a continuous curiosity from the press around me and my family. However, my children Milan and Sasha have lived a very difficult year, undergoing a ceaseless siege and relentless persecution by paparazzi and various media in Barcelona”.
“Now that they are entering a new phase in their lives, I strongly ask the media on behalf of my children to respect their right to privacy. Please refrain from following them to or from school, waiting for them outside our home , or to chase them to their extracurricular and playful activities as happened every day in Barcelona in order to get better photographs or listens,” continued the pop star.
“I trust that the journalists and photographers are sensitive to the situation that Milan and Sasha are facing, and that they can behave in the most humane way possible with them, considering that we are dealing with the health and physical and emotional integrity of two minors aged 8 and 10 years who just wish they could go out on the street and attend school feeling safe and with the peace of mind of not being persecuted or subjected to constant surveillance by cameras,” added Shakira.
“I make this request no longer as an artist, but as mother who wishes to protect and care for the psychological and emotional well-being of her children, so that they can live a healthy and happy life, as every child deserves. Thank you for your understanding and support,” the singer concluded.

Shakira leaves Barcelona: “My children and I are looking for stability in another corner of the world”
Shakira – after releasing the titled single Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53a song entirely dedicated to the end of his love affair with Gerard Pique – he recently shared a post on Instagram in which he informed his followers of his decision to leave Barcelona.
“I settled in Barcelona to give stability for my children, the same we are now looking for in another corner of the world next to family, friends and the sea. Today we begin a new chapter in the search for their happiness,” the pop star said, thanking all the people she met and felt close to her during her years in Barcelona.
Shakira’s transfer could also be linked to an action by her ex-father-in-law; the man, in fact, would have notified her of her eviction from the house where the singer lived in Barcelona.

In February Shakira had given his first interview since breaking up with Gerard Pique: “I was silent and just trying to process everything. It’s hard to talk about it, especially since I’m still processing, because I’m in the public eye, because our separation is not like a normal separation.
