He spoke to NME Mark Ronson, producer and co-writer small. Ronson says:
We were working on Gaga’s new album, Joanne, and Bradley Cooper came into the studio one afternoon. I like his films. He appeared like a star. So we left. He was very nice, he talked about a new project they were both working on. I played him a song called Joanna and he said, “She’s gorgeous, can I have her?” I know he’s a big star and all, but I really liked this song. And I needed it for Gaga’s album.
Ronson continues:
I agreed to spend some time working on a new song. We worked in an incredible studio in Malibu, where there was a corridor with a very long echo. I have a very distinct memory of Gaga’s voice coming from 10 meters away, excited about something as she steps inside. She sat down at the piano and sang: “I’m going crazy …”
