“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sir Bobby Charlton passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was surrounded by family.”. The family of the historic former Manchester United player announced his death at the age of 86.

Charlton is considered by many to be the best player in English football history, having played more than 650 games and scored in a Red Devils jersey. Over 200 goalswhich went on to make him the second goalscorer in the club’s history at Old Trafford, only Behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

For England, it’s 1966 World Champion.
