in a recent episode ATP Tennis Radio PodcastFormer WTA player Jill Craybas has backed claims that Serena Williams is the best tennis player of all time in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Krebas believes Williams and Margaret Court have surpassed Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic when considering their singles and doubles achievements. The ultimate tennis legend.

“She (Serena Williams) is definitely at the top of the list and I think Chris (Bowles) made a good point about maybe bringing doubles into that category more,” Krebas Said (7:45).

“If you talk about the top three: Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, they don’t play doubles very often. I think if they did, they would have more numbers in their category as well. But if we say By the numbers, Serena is definitely one of the best, obviously the highest in that category with Margaret Court, with 24 Grand Slam titles,” she continued.

Krebas also added that the 23-time Grand Slam champion is a well-rounded individual who has built a reputation not just in tennis but in various other areas outside the sport.

“But you’re not just talking about numbers, you’re talking about substance and celebrity. I mean, I think Serena is one of the people that transcends all of that, right? Beyond sports,” Krebas said (8:25 ).

“Even if you don’t watch tennis, people know who she is. Whether you’re a sports fan or not, people know who she is, and that’s important. So, to me, that’s what makes her one of the best. The reason is in the world,” she continued.
