However, Grant’s son, Horace Grant Jr., had no intention of escalating the situation further. His son with Michael Jordan has reached out to high fashion. Horace Jr. received a gift of the new Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Rookie Card – Away” sneakers from Marcus Jordan. Notably, Trophy Room is a retail boutique owned and operated by Marcus Jordan. The sneakers that Horace Grant Jr. prepared for himself are the latest collaboration between Trophy Room and the Air Jordan brand.Remarkably, this all happened even after Horace Grant finished “The Last Dance” “nonsense.”

“A lot of people really want to ask us questions about this bullshit documentary, but just come out and buy a ticket and you’re going to hear a lot of stuff,” Grant said at the NBL24 Andrew Stare Awards night. The tickets Grant was referring to were for Scottie Pippen’s “The No Bull” tour. Pippen claimed the tour was motivated by his desire to reconnect with his fans. However, most in the community viewed the tour as a backlash against what was depicted in “The Last Dance.” It is worth mentioning that before the release of the documentary series, Horace Grant had never directly attacked Jordan.

Although Grant and Jordan won three championships together, there never seemed to be a close personal connection between them. During an appearance on Pardon My Take in 2020, Grant revealed that he and Mike respected each other, but their relationship was still limited to professional matters.

But Grant always had high respect for the six-time NBA Finals MVP in his words. But that can’t be said for all of his Bulls teammates. Back in 2013, Scottie Pippen said that LeBron James would become the greatest player in NBA history. Grant commented on this, saying, “You can’t compare anyone to Michael”. However, that changed with the release of The Last Dance.

In the docuseries, Mike calls Horace Grant a snitch. He claimed Horace was the one who leaked the information, which was later published in Sam Smith’s book Jordan Rules. The four-time NBA champion didn’t take the accusations well. I denied the accusations while lashing out at Jordan. “I mean, if you want to call someone a snitch, that’s a damn snitch,” Grant said.
