After young and energetic Desmond Coolen went viral with his stellar rendition of the James Brown classic I Feel Good, he became South Africa’s favorite mascot.

Not only did he represent himself on stage in front of everyone at his school, but he also represented our boys in green and gold.

1st Class’ Desmond made a lot of people “feel good” with his performance, and his video even reached “The Fresh Prince” himself, Will Smith.

The boy’s school, Dainfern College, shared how proud they were of him.

The fact that he managed to make so many people, both near and far, feel good should be celebrated.

And the mom was pleasantly surprised by how positively her son’s performance was received both domestically and internationally.
