Super Mario the live action movie created by AI is a little nightmare

While Super Mario the Movie is in cinemas all over the world, and is gathering positive acclaim after all, thoughts cannot fail to go to the legendary film that has marked more than a generation.

The one with Bob Hoskins which reworked the Mushroom Kingdom and its inhabitants in a disturbing and dystopian version cyberpunks (found on Amazon)

The latest film, which we also told you about in our review, has shown that with commitment it can be achieved a great story about the Nintendo mascot in animation.

And while talks about a sequel are already starting, someone has already tried to create one live action version of the filmwith the actors of the fan fantacasting.

What would Super Mario the Movie be like live-action version? The answer obviously comes thanks to AIs capable of creating images, of course.

Starting with the actors that fans have always wanted, by voting for them in IMDb polls, Hearts Land elaborated images with the actors as characters from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Oscar Isaac plays the lead role of Mario, Emma Stone it’s the princess Rosalind, Jim Carrey is Waluigi And Paul Rudd plays Luigi.

Some of these castings were done with the help of AI, and they didn’t turn out great:

This is Oscar Isaac which, moreover, it reminds us a lot of Pedro Pascal as Mario in the comedy trailer for Mario Kart of HBO.

Following the image generator wanted Emma Watson as Daisy, Reese Witherspoon like Peach, Tom Holland like Toad and Paul Rudd like Luigi.

They look a bit strange, but it’s the power of AI in general that makes the generation of these images impressive. The same power that, in 60 secondscreated a playable video game.

If you want to have fun they were created with Deep Dream Generator using the prompts “(actor/actress) as (character) from Super Mario” and similar variations.

Waiting for Mario’s return that, after Super Mario the Movie, it seems that we could see one of his adventures again very soon.
