SuperCinema keeps “shining” Here are the next films under the stars

Many meetings continue to “dot” the summer Superkino. In fact, the hottest season of the year continues to “reveal” an increasingly rich program. Following the success of Call Me By Your Name, Bones and All That, marking the return of the collaboration between Luca Guadagnino and Timothée Chalamet, is scheduled tonight at 9:15 pm. The film is set in the 80s under the full Reagan government. The film touches on the disturbing and repulsive theme of cannibalism to show the purity and innocence of first love. After their first meeting, the two young people embark on a journey through the hidden landscapes of rural America, desperate to find their place in a hostile world full of traps that their natures can’t stand.

But that’s not all. Tomorrow, in fact, another film will attract the attention of the public. Director James Mangold brings to the cinema the latest chapter of one of the most beloved adventure sagas of all time created by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas: Indiana Jones 5 and the Quadrant of Doom, scheduled for tomorrow at 9:15 pm at the SuperCinema Estivo in Modena. Indiana Jones has retired and has been teaching archeology at New York University for several years. On the eve of conquering the moon, he is visited by Helena Shaw (played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge), the daughter of an old friend killed by his obsession: the Antikythera Machine, a mechanical device conceived by Archimedes to find time holes. The final act that strikes, touches and captivates the screen, renewing the magic of great cinema.

The surprises for enthusiasts do not end there. An anthem to compassion, nobility and a tribute to endangered craftsmanship, “The Blue Caftan (Le bleu du caftan)”, choreographed by Mariam Touzani and co-written with her husband Nabil Ayush, arrives at the SuperCinema Estivo in Modena. The premiere will take place on Tuesday, August 22. at 21:15. Before the screening, you will be able to watch Shared Screens, a selection of short films from the Nonantola Film Festival. The film tells the story of Halim and Mina, a married couple who own a traditional kaftan shop in Morocco. Finally, seventy years after his birth, Troisi is remembered in a work that reflects all the many aspects of his personality and artist: “Someone out there loves me” by Mario Mortone is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23 at 21.15.
