Swindon Town legend John Trollope will perform at the museum

John Trollope and Keith Morgan, who between them made more than 1,000 appearances for Town, will both be at the Ellendune Center this month.

Town’s official club historian, Richard Mattick, will speak to the players and the public and share the history of the club.

Richard has unique access to archival material and valuable objects from the STFC collection, but the team would like to collect more items for the museum.

Tickets cost £5.50 from Wroughton Community Library or £6.50 from Eventbrite.

“Items of memorabilia, football-related family photographs and anecdotes for the club’s new museum are welcome,” said Swindon artist and historian Hannah Dosanjh.

“If you think you have something interesting in that dusty old box on your closet, please bring it to this event.”

“People can also donate things they would like to see in the museum, and I feel like it will be a really good event.”

The event will take place at the Ellendune Center on Barrett Way in Wroughton on Friday 27 October with doors opening at 7pm and ending at 9pm.
