Foo Fighters play the new unreleased Nothing at All live

Dave Grohl plays Taylor Hawkins song acoustically

As at the opening show of the Foo Fighters Tour (held last week in New Hampshire), Dave Grohl played a solo acoustic version of the song, written by Taylor Hawkins, this time around. Cool day in the sun.
It was a very touching moment, with the frontman solely involved in paying tribute to the memory of his friend and colleague, who was like a brother to him (as he defined him several times even before his death) ).

The Foo Fighters Have Picked a New Drummer: It’s Josh Freese

freeze is the new drummer

Josh Freese is the new Foo Fighters drummer. After months of mystery surrounding Taylor Hawkins’ replacement, his name was announced at the band’s live stream event.

Josh Freese has been the Offspring’s drummer for the past two years. A few weeks ago they announced that they would not be following Dexter Holland and his bandmates on a new tour. From that clue, Foo Fighters fans speculated that The Offspring’s departure was to follow Grohl’s. And in the end they were right…

Freese had attended Taylor Hawkings tribute concerts in London and Los Angeles the previous September, adding further argument to the skepticism of some of the band’s connections.
