The various delays surrounding the release of The Flash negatively impacted Shazam! Furia degli Dei, to the point of anticipating a detail of the film.
David F. Sandbergthe director of Shazam! Fury of the Godsrevealed that the postponed release of The Flash it will negatively affect a detail present in the film. Apparently an explanation within the story should be present in the other film, which will now be released after Shazam and no longer before.
During a recent interview with gizmode, the director of Shazam! Fury of the Gods (which is currently collecting moderate reactions before the Italian release) has revealed that the delay in the theatrical distribution of The Flash will ruin a connection between the two films. In the new film, the protagonists of Shazam in fact wear different costumes from those we have seen previously, and it seems that the canonical explanation of the change in style could be traced right back to The Flash.

Those were his words (via The Direct): “We were originally supposed to come out after The Flash and that movie is going to play with the multiverse and timelines and stuff like that”he said, revealing that it all ties into the universe the characters are in, changed after and during the events of The Flash.
We remind you that Shazam! Fury of the Gods is expected in cinemas from March 16, while The Flash from June 23.
