The Little Mermaid unveils another teaser trailer that does not give up on the colors of the sea and anticipates a face-to-face between Ursula and Triton.
The little Mermaid it takes us even more “under the sea” into the new teaser trailers shared via Twitter by Walt Disney Studios. Halle Bailey interprets Ariel, a mermaid who is extremely curious and intrigued by life on the surface. Her father, King Triton, has forbidden her to interact with humans, but Ariel dreams of exploring that world and thanks to her aunt Ursula she has the opportunity to do so.

In the new teaser trailer shared by Disney, Ariel shows even more of both of her worlds: on the one hand, the mermaid swims among the beautiful colors of the seabed, also interacting with Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) and his magical cauldron through which he will deprive his granddaughter of her voice in exchange for a pair of legs. The new teaser also shows the power of King Triton (Javier Bardem), proudly wielding his trident against his sister, as well as giving another in-depth look at Ursula’s reign. On the notes of As I wishThe Little Mermaid also shows Ariel’s arrival on the surface, with an eye to the boat trip with Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) and a close-up of Flounder which helps to create the romantic mood.
The teaser trailer stands out even more the singing talent by Halle Bailey, who will accompany all the songs from the live action film in the original language. As well as shows for example a rough carriage ride for Ariel and Eric. Based on the 1989 animated classic of the same nameThe Little Mermaid will hit theaters towards the end of May 2023 and will follow in the wake of other live action films such as Cinderella And The beauty and the Beast. Soon, the live action of will also follow snow-white with Rachel Zegler And Gal Gadot in the guise of the Evil Queen. According to a recent report, it appears that the Little Mermaid film will have a significant runtime that will make it the longest live-action Disney classic to date. It should last around 2 hours and 15 minutes, but Disney hasn’t confirmed the figure at this time. Soon, in streaming, it will be the turn of Peter Pan and Wendyexpected on Disney+.
