The singer showed up at the event wrapped in a long black Versace dress (the same model had already been chosen by Gigi Hadid for the fashion shows a few days earlier): beautiful, but the real victory was obtained during the performance of Holdy My Hand where she showed up on stage without makeup, with a simple braid, a black short-sleeved shirt, a pair of ripped jeans and black Converse All Star shoes on her feet.
Silver medal for Rihanna: it is known that women who are expecting a child shine with their own light and she is the confirmation. She is not afraid to show off her beautiful baby bump as she grows, unlike many colleagues who, perhaps, prefer to keep her pregnancy secret. In fact, she opted for a Jahleel Weaver dress that wraps around her bump, highlighting it. Third place for Vanessa Hudgens who with a strapless vintage Chanel in total black and some references in white, a simple chignon, appeared as beautiful and elegant as ever. Space for too Cara Delevingne who has finally taken her revenge after a difficult period and is back stronger and more beautiful than ever, proving it to us for the night of the Oscars. A true goddess in the fire red Elie Saab dress with a dizzying slit and all the details in red like the high-heeled sandals by Stuart Weitzman, a true diva. Last promoted look, even if in reality there would be many others, is that of Halle Bailey. The young actress has recently made headlines since she was chosen as the protagonist for the live action of The Little Mermaid, but she has no problem, she has learned to handle criticism and always smile. For the Oscars you chose an elegant dress in a light blue colour, almost baby blue, which bears the signature of Dolce & Gabbana: all in tulle with a semi-transparent buster.
Now let’s move on to the rejected looks of the Oscars 2023. We would like to point out that the world is beautiful because it is varied therefore, consequently, these looks can be liked, but we have based ourselves on the majority of opinions collected in the virtual world. Didn’t like the look of Michelle Williams: a somewhat chastened look that recalled that of a girl grappling with her first communion. The actress already has a very clear complexion and for many, the choice of a white outfit was not the best choice for this evening. The outfit of Janelle Monae, made to measure by Vera Wang, looked more like a beach look than a big occasion: she played on contrasts with a black top and a long orange skirt, leaving part of the abdomen uncovered to follow the cut-out fashion too . Finally, also rejected Angela Bassett: to tell the truth, her look was liked, a Moschino dress by Jeremy Scott, but it was the color that didn’t convince, we know that purple is not very well seen in this environment.
