The resigned Prime Minister became a TV presenter

Boris Johnson, who resigned from the position of Prime Minister last year and a member of Parliament at the beginning of this year, will work as a presenter, program producer and commentator on the news channel.

The statement issued by GB News said that Johnson “will play a major role” in next year’s British and American elections and will host a series that “shows Britain’s strength around the world.”

According to news broadcast by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Johnson promised to share his “clear views” on a number of issues. Johnson, who is also a Daily Mail columnist, will start his job in the new year.

Johnson is the latest Conservative politician to join the radio, following former Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg, deputy party leader Lee Anderson, and husband-and-wife MPs Esther McVey and Philip Davies.

“I’m excited to tell you”

The former Prime Minister said in a video clip published by the X website, formerly known as Twitter:

“I’m delighted to say that I’ll be joining you on GB News soon. On this extraordinary new TV channel, I’ll be giving my clear view on everything, from Russia to China, from the war in Ukraine to how we deal with all these challenges. “I’ll be talking about the challenges as well as “The huge opportunities for global Britain and why our best days are yet to come.”
