The Rolling Stones’ new song “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” is here

The Rolling Stones announced their 26th studio album Hackney Diamonds earlier this month and shared the single “Angry” along with a music video featuring Sydney Sweeney. Now they’ve shared their penultimate track, “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven,” which features Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.

The grandiose anthem lasts more than seven minutes, growing with every second. Lady Gaga’s vocals are attractive and intense. On Zane Lowe’s Apple Music podcast, Mick Jagger opened up about his experience working with the pop star. “She’s a really great singer and I’ve never heard her sing in this style before,” the frontman explained. “Not really. We did it live in the room, and it was a great experience: She just walked into the room, opened up, saw her pieces, felt her way through, and then became more confident. And then we went back and did some extra parts that didn’t do that day and then cleaned up a little bit and ended up just in the casting room, really face to face, putting them together really tightly, parts very intense and then a little bit competitive and screaming.”
