Ahead of the celebration of World Contraception Day on September 26, the Argentine Association of Contraceptive Medicine (AMADA) promotes the #DoubleProtectionLessWorry campaign. Winning combo: A condom plus another birth control method of your choice (short or long term, with or without hormones) for even better protection.
Lía Arribas, President of AMADA, emphasizes: “This campaign highlights the important combination of condoms and another method of contraception. This synergy not only prevents unwanted pregnancies, but also creates an effective barrier against sexually transmitted infections.”
They emphasized in the association that the message was clear, it was an act of self-care and respect for others. “Preventing unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) becomes an inseparable pillar of privacy, regardless of age, situation or relationship,” Alibas added in a statement.
