Tiger Woods-owned TGL’s LAGC owner, husband of Serena Williams, in awe of golf’s diversity

Besides tennis and soccer, Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian loves golf! The 40-year-old American entrepreneur publicly embraced the sport after becoming one of the owners of Tiger Woods’ TGL team. Not only that, but recently, the Reddit co-founder himself praised the glory of the sport in four words.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion husband has come a long way from coaching his daughter to play golf to showing an interest in golf himself. Recently, I shared one of the reasons why he might play this particular sport.

The reason behind Serena Williams’ husband’s love of golf

As an owner, Ohanian was one of the first to have a TGL (The Golf League) team, along with Serena and Venus Williams. Recently, however, I shared his admiration for the sport, focusing on how it connects so many people around the world.

He shared a video on his Twitter account of people playing golf in a rugged area surrounded by trees, almost in the middle of nature. Among other things, the 40-year-old entrepreneur wrote, “Golf is for everyone.”

Alexis Ohanian is amazed by the diversity the sport brings to the world. Not only that, but I shared my delighted reactions to how golf has become a part of everyone’s life, adding to the benefits of the sport being widely known and played.

However, this is not the first time the 40-year-old American entrepreneur has admired the sport or those associated with it. Just a few months ago, I was applauding golf glamor Paige Spiranac for being a trailblazer in golf.

Ohanian praises Spiranac’s contribution to golf

The 30-year-old is quite popular on social media. Additionally, she uses social media to promote golf and support female athletes. A few months ago, when looking back on her contribution to golf, Ohanian talked about how she had cracked the code to get the next generation into golf.

Ohanian wrote, “Just got off the phone with @PaigeSpiranac – she is the real deal. One that every brand trying to figure out how to tell stories to the ‘next generation’ of golf fans should be paying attention to.” Subsequently, it’s safe to say that Serena Williams’ husband may be a new fan of the 30-year-old tennis player’s promotional techniques used on golf.
