Cam Heyward to miss several weeks for Steelers

Hayward had to leave the game in the second quarter because of the issue. He only had one hit on the quarterback in this game and completed 14 defensive snaps.
The following defensive linemen are expected to get more opportunities in his absence: Larry Ogunjobi, Montravis Adams, Isaiah Loudermilk, Keanu Benton and Demar Vin Lyle.

Anthony Richardson concerned about condition after making NFL debut today
The Indianapolis Colts are dealing with allowing quarterback Anthony Richardson to be sacked four times and hit six times by the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 of the NFL.
In one of those collisions, Richardson hit his knee on the turf in the first quarter and then hit his ankle near the end of the game.
After the game, he and HC Steve Steichen assured him he was fine and confirmed again on Monday that it was not serious. However, it was confirmed that the injuries in both cases were abrasions to the knees and ankles.
In the same game, the Colts decided not to take the chance on Richardson with the loss already on the line, so he didn’t play with about a minute left in the game.
The fourth overall pick is 24-for-37 in kickoffs this year for 223 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Baker Mayfield: Buccaneers motivated by low expectations
After constant criticism that they would accomplish nothing without Tom Brady under center, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers debuted the 2023 NFL season and defeated the current NFC North champions.
The team surprised the Vikings by beating them 20-17 to start the season with a 1-0 record:
“That’s been our motto all offseason and training camp,” quarterback Baker Mayfield said. We were able to drive off and hit Mike (Evans) TD formation, that’s what really sparked the game, just our guys getting used to it at that point. No one was playing tight. We did that and then we started a couple more times.”
Ultimately, the Buccaneers found an answer without their all-time quarterback and started off with a strong record that set them up well for another NFC South win in a complicated (but not impossible) scenario.
