Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had the perfect response to some witty banter from Peyton Manning, who recently appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show”.
“Does (Tom) fly Delta to (his) yacht?” Manning asked. “Does Delta have a direct flight to the Bahamas so I can board the yacht? I was on a Delta flight back from Hawaii that night. My flight was canceled. I was seated on 36F. Tom has flown on a Delta flight 36F?
“They put me in the exit row and there was so much legroom. But I swear the door was open. It was as cold as I’ve ever been. I’ve played some cold-weather games, right? “I’ve been to Green Bay and Played in New England. “
Brady responded by joking about Manning’s struggles in outdoor games.
Manning has historically played the Patriots on the road because winter weather was a factor. For example, Manning had 4 interceptions in the 2003 AFC Championship Game, including 3 interceptions by Ty Law and 1 interception by Rodney Harrison.
Twice in his career, Manning lost on the road to New England in the playoffs because winter conditions made the quarterback uncomfortable.
Brady took easy shots at Manning and reminded him of the difficulties he faced.
