Recently retired quarterback Tom Brady is experiencing how regular fans watch football games, and now he understands why they are annoyed by watching the NFL from their couches at home.
Brady, 46, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, explained his issues with watching the NFL at home during a recent radio interview.

“When you watch the game, you see a lot more context and you have this TV and they show every replay. On the field, you don’t see any of that. What you see on the ground is Everything,” Brady said.
“I think when you’re a fan you obviously see a lot and hear a lot. The commentators say a lot.
“You have the score there, you have the timeout listed, everything is there for you.
“When you’re a player, that’s not necessarily the case. You just live in the moment.”
Brady, who has played in the NFL for 23 seasons, is now scheduled to join Fox as their top game analyst, signing a lucrative 10-year contract worth $375 million.
During his time off this year, he tried to master all aspects of commentary.
“I’m taking it all in,” the 15-time Pro Bowler revealed.

“I’m trying to actually listen to it from a broadcaster’s perspective and how they call the game, you know, I would say, focus more on the broadcast element of it, the pageantry of it rather than, I would say, the game’s Nuances and technical details.”
Currently, Brady is having trouble acquiring a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
Initially in May, reports surfaced that Brady had purchased a stake in the Raiders, but there were still more issues to resolve.
Negotiations apparently stalled over concerns about the discounted price offered by owner Mark Davis, The Washington Post reported.
Davis is believed to be selling Brady 5 to 10 percent of the franchise and could give the former quarterback a discount of up to 70 percent.
Meanwhile, Brady has been busy watching the NFL and even commenting on Aaron Rodgers and his Achilles injury.
“I know it’s a tough battle. He’s trying to come back from an unbelievable injury. I appreciate his effort,” Brady said.
“That’s the approach that winners take, they try to get back out there and fight with their mates.”
