Even if both quarterbacks retire from the NFL, the rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning still exists. The two quarterbacks battled in the AFC for more than a decade, with viewers debating who was the better passer of the two.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Manning calls out Brady while talking about the frigid flight he took. “Has Tom Brady ever flown on the 36th floor of a Delta flight… “I’ve done a lot of cold weather races and this is colder than I’ve ever been.”

Playing in the cold is Peyton Manning’s famous kryptonite. The Colts quarterback is 0-5 in postseason games with temperatures below 40 degrees. Manning was lucky enough to play most of his games in the RCA Dome and the Lucas Oil Stadium Dome. This was in stark contrast to Brady, who played outdoors at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. Gillette often hosts cold weather and snowy races in December and January.
Manning’s first playoff victory over Brady came in 2006, while playing in the Dome in Indianapolis. The Colts went on to win the Super Bowl. Before his time in Indy, Manning lost in the playoffs in Foxborough in both the 2003 and 2004 seasons. In the 2003 playoffs, the Patriots intercepted Manning four times on a snowy day to win the Super Bowl.
Brady maintains his historical advantage in this game with an 11-6 record over Manning.
