Josh Allen has developed into one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL since entering the league. Despite his success at the NFL level, Buffalo Bills quarterback Tom Brady gave Allen a thumbs-up about certain parts of the game when he appeared on his podcast some advices.

During an episode of Brady’s “Let’s Go!” podcast this week, Brady said he’s a big fan of Allen but would like to see the Bills quarterback protect his body more.

“Because he does a lot of the running game, I think sometimes he gets used to it and he wants to run the ball because he knows he can gain yards. There’s a lot of confidence in that,” Brady says. “But the only problem from my perspective is, you put yourself at risk. When you put yourself at risk, it doesn’t take much for someone to fall on you and make You back off.”

Brady added that he would like to see Allen slide more when running with the ball.

It’s not that he shouldn’t run, but when he does, just fucking slide and make sure no one hits you, because I don’t want to see him get hurt, I want to see him out there playing because he’s such a Damn stud,” Brady added.

When Brady revealed why he didn’t give up on certain plays, Allen pushed back.

“It’s hard for me to stop because I care so much about winning football games and sometimes that leads to a little bit more risk than reward,” Allen said.

It will be interesting to see if Allen takes the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s advice to heart when the Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals this week.
