Travis Scott: Fast and Furious: Techie Stole Porsche for Road Trip and Arrested |

Hyderabad: Call it his passion for expensive cars or the fast life, a software professional who earned a big salary has found himself behind bars. His crime: stealing a Porsche from the son-in-law of a famous Telugu film producer.
To make matters worse, after contacting the family members of the accused M. Sai Kiran, the Jubilee Hills police came to know that he was a repeat offender.
After nabbing him near the KBR Park junction on Friday, Kiran told cops that he had “high-level” connections with a leading industrialist, a state cabinet minister and a Bollywood hero.
It all started on Friday morning when the producer’s son-in-law Archit Reddy arrived at the star hotel in Madhapur to work out at the gym. When he returned to the parking lot, he discovered that his red Porsche, worth ₹2 crore, was missing. Archit contacted the hotel security, checked the footage and discovered that the car had been stolen by an unknown person.
Archit contacted the police who arrived at the scene and began an investigation. When they checked traffic signals in nearby areas, they found that the car was moving in different areas of Madhapur and Jubilee Hills. Anticipating that he would end up near the KBR Park junction, the police alerted the traffic police, who caught Kiran.
After the arrest, Kiran was taken to the station along with the car.
The accused gave his name as Sai Kiran and told the police that the car belonged to him. He started mentioning the names of the powers that be in India, claiming that they were his friends.
“During the theft of the Porsche at the hotel, Kieran arrived on his bike and parked it next to the Porsche. He saw that the car key was inside the car and the door was unlocked. He took advantage of this and took the car,” said Jubilee Hills Detective Inspector S Veera Shekar.
Using the details of the bike Kiran left at the hotel, the police contacted his parents in LB Nagar.
“His family members told us that he was previously involved in a similar crime. He became interested in luxury cars. He would steal a car, drive it until it ran out of fuel, and then abandon the car. Banjara Hills police had booked him in the past for stealing an expensive car,” the inspector said.
