Travis Scott stayed late at UNC basketball practice

Most of the time, UNC conducts its basketball practices in the Dean Dome behind closed doors.

There was a special guest – someone quite famous in the music industry – who happened to arrive on a Saturday afternoon.

Travis Scott, known for hits like “Sicko Mode” and “Goosebumps” among many others, was holding a bad pair of Jordans and was caught on video making a corner three-pointer.

One might ask: Why did Scott end up in Chapel Hill? Doesn’t this seem extremely random for a player of his caliber?

Scott was scheduled to perform at PNC Arena on Saturday night as part of his Utopia-Circus Maximus tour, but fans discovered that Scott would not be performing. The North Carolina State Fair also began Thursday evening and runs through Sunday, Oct. 22. Could the postponement have something to do with the fair?

Traffic around the arena was crazy, according to ABC11.

Maybe the cancellation was due to traffic? Maybe it was because one of North Carolina’s largest annual events was happening at the same time?

I feel for all the Travis Scott fans who came to Raleigh and found him not performing.

However, in one of the most unexpected performances at UNC basketball practice, it was surprising for the Tar Heels to spend the evening with one of hip-hop’s most popular artists.

Scott could shoot the rock too – maybe he can use his remaining eligibility to suit up when his tour ends on December 29th?
