In the afternoon, both mayors also participate in a traditional commemorative mass at the church of the parish of San Biagio in Maranello, scheduled for 19:30, preceded by a wreath at 18:30 at the monument dedicated to Enzo Ferrari and located next to the town hall.

Last summer, the two municipalities collaborated with the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission to produce a 1957 film about the personal and professional life of Enzo Ferrari directed by Michael Mann. competition in the coming days at the Venice Film Festival.

“The memory of Enzo Ferrari is still alive in Modena and around the world,” emphasizes Mayor Giancarlo Muzzarelli, “and we are confident that Mann’s work will contribute to the renewal and revival of the myth with an important publicity effect for the territory.”

Mayor of Maranello Luigi Zironi adds: “We continue to live this day with strong emotions that in the hearts of Maranello residents and many enthusiasts are dedicated to the memory of Enzo Ferrari.
