Redick announced the unboxing video earlier on Instagram, with more than 5,000 loyal fans anticipating his move. I posted a photo of himself leaning against another Supra, a Gen 5 GR, with his son Beau next to him. “This lot” of Jordans were stacked in towers on either side of the father and son. Fans noticed the iconic badge and part of the Gen 4’s rear end peeking out from the left side in the photo, sparking many whispers and even Xfinity Series driver Parker Kilgerman rushing to comment and observe: ““I spotted a mk4 Supra”.
When Redick finally posted the video, it immediately went viral on social media. More than 42,000 fans watched as Redick’s hard-earned fortune was revealed, and speculation came true when the camera changed angles to clearly show the fourth-generation gem gracefully bathing in the fluorescent lights of Redick’s garage.
On Instagram, fans went wild over the little detail, and everyone’s collective sentiment was ultimately announced, “Is that SUPRA?!” Rhetorical questions are well known in pop culture references simply because of the popularity of this particular 90s JDM model.
One fan even said, “Jordan gear is great, but the mk4 Supra is even better😅”. This may be a controversial statement, but the Supra’s traction in the comments section is certainly strong, as one fan hilariously pointed out, “You woke up those super kids”
However, the video doesn’t just showcase Reddick’s impressive collection of Toyota Supras and Jordans. A black Chevrolet Camaro also makes a cameo in the background of Garage 45, and @mk_s550 was the first to notice: “Man you still have the Camaro 🤔🤔🤔”.
