UGR launches meningococcal meningitis and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign

The academic institution will set up a vaccination point at the University Pavilion on the Fuentenueva campus to administer young people who have reached the recommended vaccination age.

A delegation of the Rector for Health and Health System Relations of the University of Granada, in partnership with the Granada Metropolitan Health Primary Care Health District of the Andalusian Health Service, calls for the launch of a vaccination campaign against the human papillomavirus (HPV) and ACWY meningococcal meningitis.

The vaccination day will be held next Thursday, December 14, from 10 am to 2:30 pm in room 0 of the UGR Universiade Hall on the University of Fuentenueva campus.

The campaign targets young people who have not yet received any such vaccine.in this case VaccinationThe vaccine against human papillomavirus is available to people aged 18 to 26 who are in high-risk groups, while the ACWY meningitis vaccine is recommended for young people aged 18 to 21.
