Valladolid Cancer March registers more than 32,000 people in one week

Valladolid aims to set another record. There is still a week left before a wave of solidarity turns the streets of the capital of Valladolid green for the 12th March Against Cancer, with more than 32,000 people already signed up. The challenge is to exceed the 47,500 people who attended last year’s solidarity event and, if possible, to exceed 50,000.

All this is aimed at raising funds to fund research grants promoted by the AECC in Valladolid, which this year amount to 600,000 euros. The solidarity walk will start from Acera de Recoletos this Sunday (29th) at 10:30 am. The five-kilometer route will pass through the Filipinos, Paseo de Zorrilla, San Ildefonso, Isabel la Católica Bridge, Archbishop José Delicado, Poniente Bridge, Isabel la Católica, Doctrines, Santiago, Plaza Mayor, Fuente Dorada, Bajada de la Libertad, Portugalet, Plaza Universidad, López Gómez, Plaza España and Miguel Íscar, return to the Recoletos sidewalk.

Therefore, everyone who wants to register for the cause of solidarity can do so through Saturday through several options: the location on Menéndez Pelayo Street (closed on Friday afternoon and Saturday) and at El Corte Ingles on Paseo de Zorrilla (Sports Factory) and Hipercor in Arroyo de la Encomienda (10:30 am to 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm). On the same Saturday, registration can be done at El Corte Inglés on Paseo de Zorrilla.
