LeBron James hit so many big shots during his storied NBA career that it’s hard to rank them all.
But for superstar Stephen Curry, James’ huge 3-pointer immediately stood out.

LeBron James once hit a fadeaway 3-pointer that left Stephen Curry in disbelief
That was a play-in game in Los Angeles on May 20, 2021.
James’ Lakers and Curry’s Golden State Warriors are both trying to advance to the first round of the NBA playoffs.
After the first quarter, the Golden State Warriors led 28-22 and led 55-42 at halftime.
Then the Lakers took over.
Los Angeles scored 35 points in the third quarter and led the Warriors 26-21 in the fourth quarter.
But what really ended the night for Curry and the Golden State Warriors was King James’ incredible 3-pointer that left Curry staring back in disbelief.
With the game tied at 100 with 58.2 seconds left, James took a long pass from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and calmly shot the shot with Curry as the primary defender.
When the diminutive Curry rushed in, James shot 34 feet from the basket, more than 10 feet from the three-point line.

Curry could only look at James in disbelief.
As Curry stared helplessly at James, the ball clanged off the right side of the iron and bounced over the net.
The Lakers won 103-100.

“After Draymond (Green) put his finger to his eye, I literally saw three baskets,” James said. “So I just shot the one in the middle.”
That score stood until Los Angeles entered the playoffs and the Warriors’ season was on the verge of collapse.
Curry immediately looked back at James, which said it all: How do you shoot?
“The fact that Steph looked at LeBron in that moment was like, ‘Yeah, right, LeBron,'” ESPN analyst Jay Williams said. “That’s the look Steph gave him.”

James only scored 22 points on 7-for-17 shooting, but he hit the most important shot.
Curry scored a game-high 37 points and hit 6 three-pointers.
But with less than a minute left, the biggest three-pointer of the night belonged to the Kings.
The Warriors’ 2020-21 season ended in a playoff loss to Memphis in overtime.
James’ Lakers entered the playoffs, but were eliminated by Phoenix 4-2 in the first round.
