Taylor Swift leads all 2023 MTV EMA nominees with seven nominations, including best artist, best song and best video, the latter for her single “Anti-Hero.” This year’s nominations were announced on Wednesday morning (October 4), and they found Olivia Rodrigo and SZA trailing Taylor with six nominations each – including best artist, best song and best video – with Doja Cat, Moneskin, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj each. dialing four.
This year’s event will be broadcast live to over 150 countries on November 5 from Paris North, marking the first time the ceremony has returned to the City of Light since 1995; The show will also be available in select countries around the world on Pluto TV and on demand on Paramount+.

This year’s EMA 2023 will also add a new category for Best Afrobeats, featuring Asake, Aya Nakamura, Arya Starr, Burna Boy, Davido and Rema. Fans can start voting for their favorite categories starting today here; Voting will last until 23:59 CET on October 31st. Fans from 24 regions around the world will be able to vote for their favorite artists in the Best Local Artists category.
