The 2023-24 season has not been great for the Golden State Warriors so far. Chris Paul joined the Golden State Warriors via trade in the offseason, but he’s enjoying playing with the Warriors.In fact, Paul said that he Feels like an NFL quarterback Partner with Elite Receivers through ClutchPoints.

“To me, if you think about Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, they’re all quarterbacks with these elite receivers, to me, knowing you’ve got Klay (Klay Thompson) , Steph (Stephen Curry), it’s fun to bring the ball down the court,” Paul said. “You know what I mean? Some of the passes I threw to them, you made it before they even got there. You know, they caught the ball and shot it, but they still made it.”

Paul struggled with his shooting early in the season. But he’s still helping the Golden State Warriors.

Adjusting to a new role is not easy. Paul has come off the bench at times for the Warriors this season and doesn’t play a key role in the offense like he has before with other teams. But Chris Paul’s ability to find the open man while showing impressive leadership cannot be ignored.

Overall, CP3 is currently averaging 9.8 points per game while shooting 39.8% from the field and 32.8% from three-point range. Despite this, he still averaged 7.7 assists in 28.8 minutes per game.

Again, playing for the Warriors is a new experience for Paul. His numbers will continue to improve as the season continues. For now, Paul will do whatever he can to help the Golden State Warriors win.
