How to watch

Look Voice Monday, September 25th at 8/7c, Tuesday, September 26th at 8/7c on NBC and the next day on Peacock.

Reiner gave herself a tough assignment: “Fancy” by Reba McEntire, made even more difficult by the fact that McEntire herself was sitting just a few steps away from her in the coaching chair. (The country icon is a new coach this year, sitting alongside veterans Gwen Stefani, John Legend and newcomer Niall Horan.)

However, Reiner knocked the song out of the park and earned the coveted Four Chairs title. The coaches said nothing but incredible things about her performance.

“I heard an exceptional vocalist on that stage,” Legend told Reiner. “Any of us would be lucky to work with you. Why did you choose this particular Reba song?”

“Because it’s the best,” Reiner said in response, earning applause from the crowd. “It was written by a strong woman (Bobby Gentry). It became famous thanks to a strong woman. And lyrically it represents what women do to survive. I am a woman who did what I had to do to survive. I feel this song in every bone of my body.”

The coaches definitely felt Reiner’s passion for the song. In fact, Horan wanted Reiner to choose him so much that he cheated a little with the button. He hired his good buddy Blake Shelton to record some complimentary things he said about him every time he pressed the bell. “Niall is like a son to me,” Shelton said first, followed by “Niall is a global superstar” and “Niall is a good-looking guy.”
