What happens to Justin Bieber?

The last time he himself revealed the causes that led him to postpone the concerts of the “Justice World Tour”, showing himself in video on social media with his face half paralyzed. Fans’ fears were somewhat allayed by Justin Bieber himself: “I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better”, he said, explaining that he suffers from the rare Ramsay Hunt syndromea neurological pathology that can develop as a result of infection with Herpes Zoster virus, especially in times of strong psychological and physical stress.

And that can also have serious and permanent effects such as hearing loss. This time, however, the 29-year-old Canadian pop star holed up in a .mysterious and worrying silence. It was the fans who noticed the mass cancellation of the remaining dates of the world tour linked to Bieber’s latest unreleased album, “Justice”, who noticed that – after the various postponements in recent months – the dates in the United States, Ireland, France, Pologia, Denmark and the Czech Republic have all disappeared from the singer-songwriter’s official website page relating to the tour. What happens?

Ah, to know. Bieber and his reps have not currently commented on the news related to the mass cancellation of the ‘Justice World Tour’ nor provided an official reason, although for the past couple of days there have been rumors linked to health problems of the star, who was once again expected on stage for this month, to resume the discussion where she left off last summer after the suspension of the tour. Certainly the silence in which Bieber has holed up risks fueling the concerns – and also the perplexities – of the singer-songwriter’s fans, among the most talked about and discussed pop stars of these yearsone who in a handful of years has gone through the cycle of rise, fall and redemption that pop stars usually go through in an entire career:

from the early beginnings as an enfant prodige with “Baby” to the consecration with “Justice”passing through the scandals that stained her life – public and private – after that success that arrived so soon and so quickly shocked her (in 2014 he was also arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, expired license and resistance to ‘arrest), passing through the “Purpose” turn. Last January, the singer-songwriter sold the rights to his music catalog to the Hipgnosis company for the sum of 200 million dollars: he was one of the last in a long list of pop and rock champions such as Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen to make a move like that.

Of the 131 shows scheduled for the “Justice World Tour”, Bieber only made 49. With the new cancellations, canceled concerts now amount to a whopping 82. Fans have been promised refunds. Last Tuesday, the 80,000 who had purchased tickets to attend the four London shows at the O2 Arena in London, all cancelled, only received an email from the organizers last Tuesday informing them that the shows had been definitively cancelled: “We know you will be We are disappointed and apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause,” they wrote in the note, noting that refunds will be issued. Among the many fans who had purchased tickets for the “Justice World Tour” and who are now entitled to a refund, there are also the Italian ones, who were waiting for the “Stay” pop star at theUnipolArena in Casalecchio di Reno, Bologna, on 27 and 28 January: they will be able to request a refund here by May 31st.

It was last June when Justin Bieber confessed to fans on social media: “My body is telling me to slow down. I hope you understand. I will only use this time to rest and relax and get back to one hundred percent so I can do what I was born to do.” Now fans wait for a signal.
