Bodies

Bodies Netflix, streaming now What do four London detectives have in common besides killer cheekbones? Well, the same nude body found in the same place four times over the course of 150 years. It’s okay, your brain should be bent at this point; this new series is based on the mind-blowing graphic novel by C Spencer. So Bodies is a police procedural with a very drawn-out plot. When the body was found in Longharvest Lane in London’s East End in 1890, Inspector Hillinghead’s job was to get to the bottom of it. Fast forward to 1941 and Sergeant Whiteman finds the body. In 2023, Sergeant Hassan encounters the same creature, and Sergeant Maplewood takes up the mantle in a typically dystopian 2053. As connections are made over decades, the detectives soon discover that their investigations are interconnected, and they face the difficult task of collaborating across time. An idea put forward by mysterious political leader Elias Mannix (Stephen Graham).

Aside from Lilith (Bebe Neuwirth) and Roz (Peri Gilpin), who make guest appearances, Grammer is the only OG cast member. Returning to Boston, he is obsessed with interfering in the life of his son Frederick.
