In Martin Scorsese’s new epic Killers of the Flower Moon on Apple TV+, Leonardo DiCaprio plays Ernest Burkhart.
DiCaprio is joined by Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro in the new film based on a series of Osage murders in 1920s Oklahoma.
In a five star film review NME wrote: “This is one of Scorsese’s most important works. 1920s popular music, Native American songs and Robbie Robertson’s blues score round out this wonderful Western, a film that audiences will long remember.”
Now that the new film is out, DiCaprio has plenty of new projects to work on, including within his still fruitful relationship with Scorsese.

Talking to TimeScorsese has confirmed that this will be his next project based on the novel. The Bet: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny and Murder David Grann, the same author who wrote the book, Killers of the Flower Moon based on.
There is not much information about the adaptation of Scorsese’s book, but Bid concerns the true fate of the crew of the British warship HMS Wager, which was wrecked off the coast of Chile in the mid-1700s.
Another legendary actor-director team-up will appear in a Teddy Roosevelt biopic, while other DiCaprio and Scorsese projects are in the works. Devil in the White City.
The latter is an adaptation of Erik Larson’s 2003 book, which centers on Holmes, a man believed to be America’s first serial killer. While the film was originally intended to be a film starring DiCaprio and directed by Scorsese, it will now be released as a miniseries on Hulu, with the pair serving as executive producers.
