Michael Jordan retired before the start of the 1993-94 season after nine seasons with the Chicago Bulls. The NBA’s greatest player is considering a career in baseball. Additionally, he has several options, including boxing. According to sources, boxing promoter Dan Duva has made a $15 million offer to the famous Chicago Bulls player with a heavyweight title attached. The deal is for the winner of Evander Holyfield vs. Michael Mueller.
Dewar confirmed the seriousness of the offer, saying: “This offer is not a gimmick. We are serious. Mr. Jordan seems to enjoy the challenge of proving himself to be the best, no matter what the sport. I want to pay tribute to Michael. “Individual sports challenge, chance to compete for the world heavyweight championship.”
However, Jordan declined the offer, responding, “If I had a gun in my hand, I wouldn’t fight those guys.” Both Mueller and Holyfield were among the best heavyweight boxers at the time. Therefore, it would be a huge challenge for the Chicago Bulls superstar to make his boxing debut against any of them.
