When will it be released?

Ever since Atomic Blonde was released five years ago in 2017, fans have been wondering Atomic Blonde 2 Date of issueespecially after the film’s star Charlize Theron and director David Leitch confirmed in 2020 that the film was in development.

Is there a release date for Atomic Blonde 2?

At the time of writing, Atomic Blonde 2 does not have a release date. However, the film may release in 2026.

The reason for the projected 2026 release date is that the film is currently in the development and scripting stages and filming has not yet begun. Then, once development and writing are complete, the film will need to be greenlit and then put into production and filming, which will likely take two years. So this makes a 2026 release date even more likely. However, there is a chance that the film won’t be released until 2027 due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA cast strikes.

This date is an estimate based on the information we have at the time of writing this article.

At the time of writing, the cast for Atomic Blonde 2 is still unknown, other than the fact that Charlize Theron will reprise her role as Lorraine Broughton, a high-ranking MI6 agent. David Leitch will also return to direct the film, with his wife and Theron serving as producers.

Where will Atomic Blonde 2 be released?

Atomic Blonde 2 is expected to be released by 2026. or 2027.

At the moment, nothing is known about the plot of Atomic Blonde 2. However, David Leitch, in a 2018 interview with Slashfilm, revealed the direction he would like to take Lorraine Broughton’s story next:

“Oh, I’d love to continue Lorraine’s story. If all parties have the will… so be it. I think she’s an incredible character and it’s a really fun and interesting world and it’s an interesting take on the spy genre, sort of a revisionist take on history that centers around a character with an existential crisis and then we cap it off with some great attributes music and hardcore action.”
