Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s daughters, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. and Adira River Ohanian, are co-owners of two sports teams.
The couple welcomed their first child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., on September 1, 2017, and tied the knot in November of the same year. Williams and Ohanian recently gave birth to their second child, daughter Adira River Ohanian, in August of this year.
Both sisters have joined the business ventures of their parent companies, Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC) and Angeles City Football Club. Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. and Adira River co-own two sports teams.
LAGC is one of six TGL golf teams formed by Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams and Venus Williams. Ohanian’s goal is for the LAGC to represent the city of Los Angeles and pave the way for a new generation of players to join the club. Alexis Ohanian was inspired by her daughter Olympia to invest in the Angel City FC soccer team. Ohanian invested $100 million in start-up club ACFC. The club will join the National Women’s Football League in 2022.

The club is backed by a host of celebrity investors, including Natalie Portman, Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Chastain and Uzo Aduba. Julie Urhman is the club’s president and co-founder. She co-founded the club with actress Natalie Portman.
Ohanian also said the idea of creating opportunities for his four-year-old daughter played a role in his investment in the club (h/t LATimes). They finished eighth in the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League) season (2022), averaging an impressive attendance of over 19,000 fans per game.
