Einar Ortiz was born on May 22, 1993 in Santiago de Cuba and came to Italy at the age of 9. The young man of Cuban origin, currently based in Prevalla (B.C.), considers himself a self-taught singer and his great passion for music encourages him to try his hand at writing unreleased songs.

First with the election of X-Factor 11, and now with his presence at the Amici di Maria De Filippi school – 2017 edition, Einar Ortiz is starting to win over its audience. His role models are Shawn Mendes, Bruno Mars, John Legend, Justin Bieber and Marco Mengoni.

On June 1, 2018, his first EP was released called Einar containing seven tracks including two unreleased tracks already featured by Amici, No(written in collaboration with Gianvito Vizzi), Say hi for me (Daniele Magro) and two unreleased songs: Who loves don’t forget (author: Tony Maiello, Enrico Palmosi and Sabatino Salvati) e August night (written by Tony Maiello, Enrico Palmosi and Sirius).

To promote the album, the song was released as a single. Who loves don’t forgetin radio rotation starting in May of that year.

December 2018 Einar Ortiz is one of the winners of the Sanremo Giovani competition with the song One hundred thousand times produced by Chikko Palmosi, written by Tony Maiello and Ivan Bentivoglio, securing participation in the Sanremo Festival 2019, where he proposed the song. New wordswritten by Maiello, Palmosi and Nicola Marotta, with whom he placed 23rd.
