It was announced on Sunday (September 24) that R&B superstar Usher will headline the Halftime Show this February. This was reported via The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music 1.
“It was very difficult to keep secrets at home from my children. A very, very close-knit group of people knew and were very excited about all of this. Obviously this is a legacy. But most of all the fact that this is the biggest stage I’ve ever played on, man. Those 13 minutes mean everything. It’s been on my bucket list for a long time,” Usher enthused when he learned that he was invited to headline the iconic sporting event.
