DJ Vlad called Drake And DJ Khaled for remaining silent about the current war between Israel and Hamas. While many took to social media to express their views on the conflict, both musicians remained silent.
DJ Vlad took up X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their disappointment, saying that since Drake was raised Jewish and Khaled is Palestinian-American, they should speak out.
“This is because both are so keen to maintain their relevance that they would not risk offending some of their fans. God forbid Drake debuts at number two behind Taylor Swift because some of his Palestinian fans decided not to stream his album. And it would be the end of the world if Khaled sold a few less sneakers because some Jews decided not to buy his Jordans,” Vlad tweeted.
Vlad went on to compare the current situation to Tupac’s, stating that “that’s the difference between today’s artists and timeless legends like 2Pac. You know damn well Puck would be the first to speak out about something so close to home.”
Vlad called other celebrities names
This is not the first time DJ Vlad named famous figures on social networks. Last month he criticized Nicki Minaj for a snippet of a song she released where she seems to imply that she has a gang that will shoot someone on her command.
“Nicki Minaj’s husband is under house arrest for threatening Offset,” Vlad began. “Right after that she announces the song on IG and says she has killers who will come and do what she says. This was the same Niki who threatened to send her husband to the Academicians’ house for his comments about her.”
Vlad continued: “For all men out there, I don’t care how fat her ass is or how good the sex is. Avoid women like Nicki who use men as mannequins like the plague. I said what I said.”
Bye Drake and Khaled have yet to speak out about the ongoing conflict, many other musicians have taken to social media to express their support for Palestine. Rihanna, Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid only a few celebrities have expressed their opinion on this matter.
